Road Safety Awareness
One of the major Objectives of IHIF is to create awareness on safe use of roads. Towards this end we conduct regular workshops on safe driving and essentiality of wearing helmets.
With CSR support from ICICI Lombard, Hero MotoCorp LTD., HT Parekh Foundation/HDFC, Apollo Foundation and Citigroup, IHIF has todate educated over 3,35,899 children and 1,38,352 parents. It has also distributed over 177,000 helmets to children and parents who ride as pillions and whose only source of transportation is a two- wheeler. These programmes have been conducted in New Delhi, Ludhiana, Bihar ,Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Utter Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh.
