IHIF Physiotherapy and Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, Patna

The Indian Head Injury Foundation (IHIF) continues its mission of providing compassionate care and rehabilitation to individuals suffering from head and spinal injuries through its four dedicated centres located in Jodhpur, Delhi, Patna, and NOIDA. These centres are committed to restoring lives, particularly focusing on patients from the weaker and underprivileged sections of society who otherwise have limited access to quality neuro-rehabilitation.

With the unconditional and generous support of the London-based charity “One Kind Act,” IHIF established its state-of-the-art Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre in Patna, which was soft- launched on 7th June 2019. The Patna Centre is equipped with world-class rehabilitation facilities, including modern physiotherapy and occupational therapy units, advanced electrotherapy and exercise equipment, sensory integration tools, and a team of skilled rehabilitation professionals dedicated to individualized patient care.

This Centre has truly been a boon for patients across Bihar, Jharkhand, and neighbouring regions, offering not only medical and therapeutic intervention but also hope and empowerment. Through structured rehabilitation programs, patients are supported in regaining their functional independence and confidence to perform their activities of daily living with dignity.

To further assist those in need, IHIF also provides assistive and mobility devices such as wheelchairs, orthotic and prosthetic aids, and customized appliances — enabling patients to reintegrate into society with improved mobility and self-reliance.

The Patna Centre is presently supported by ICICI Lombard General Insurance, whose partnership has been instrumental in sustaining and expanding IHIF’s outreach to the most vulnerable sections of society. Together, we continue to work towards our shared vision — to restore ability, rebuild lives, and renew hope for those affected by brain and spinal injuries.
