I have gone through the Budget Proposals to see if anything has been done for the over 2 crore People with Disabilities (PWDs) in the form of job reservations, or creation of special facilities like centres for neuro rehabilitation, or post accident critical care of survivors, or subsidies for purchase

With the support of “OneKindAct”, we celebrated World Physiotherapy Day at IHIF Delhi Rehab Centre with the theme “Stay Fit Stay Healthy” for geriatric population. In this we conducted awareness on fall prevention, causes, home and environmental modification needed, use of assistive technologies and benefits of physiotherapy. Fall risk assessments

IHIF supported by CITI conduced the First Responder Training for 26 OLA Cab Drivers. The training included an interactive lesson plan followed by hands on training. The drivers found the training extremely useful and beneficial.       

PTC Course being organized by IHIF for about 30 government school teachers in support with ‘Citi Group’ on 11 August 2018.

IHIF has been nominated to conduct 10 PTC First Responder Courses with the support of “Citi Group” for various Road Users. The Course was conducted for 36 nurses and they were trained to be the Trainers for the next subsequent programmes. It was a very successful event and we are
