To fully live upto the day we had few recreational activities at our Centre involving group sessions and playing together.
Singing of songs, drum playing supported by shakers. It was really fruitful to involve the patients together in the group session as they got the chance to interact musically with each other.
The pictures clearly describes that music has no age barrier. This is the group session of a 2 yr child and a 40 yr lady. Our Music Therapist supported both of them with her voice and guitar. Activities like vocalization and body movements, singing familiar songs, call and response and turn taking were done.
It leads to sharing of thoughts and expressing oneself. We had a well spent fun filled music day.
