On November 2022, IHIF has formally inaugurated IHIF’s Physiotherapy & Neuro Rehabilitation Centre- Delhi. The inaugural ceremony was performed by IHIF Chairman, Maharaja GajSingh ji of Marwar-Jodhpur and Maharani Hemlata Rajye.
The Centre facilitates traumatic spinal cord injury victims, brain injury victims, persons with disabilities, people suffering from stroke, parkinson, special children and people with other neurological deficits. The facilities are open for all and especially those from the weaker sections of our society.
The Centre was originally established in Aug 2011 at the Delhi CommonWealth Women’s Association (DCWA) Medical Centre premises in Zamrudpur but has now been upgraded with top of the line rehab equipment with a specialized pediatric unit.
The Centre has been established with a large capital outlay received from charitable donors, and consists of high quality, top of the line rehabilitation equipment like the balance system SD, GAIT trainer with unweighing system, thera trainer, ball pool, standing frame, etc. The facility is focused on the weaker sections of our society who cannot afford expensive, good quality rehabilitation. Recently in 2016, the Centre’s equipment and facilities have been upgraded to “State of the Art” at a huge expense.
