Baby Miraya, age 5 years, female child is diagnosed as mixed CP. CP is a disorder of movement and posture that appears during infancy or early childhood resulting from damage to the brain.
She came to “Yuvraj Shivraj Singh Neuro Rehab Centre” Jodhpur 8 months ago. Her history showed she had an insignificant (no details or documents available). Her Natal history showed that she was born at full term vaginal delivery and post natal history said that she had cried immediately. She had suffered from dengue when she was 4 months old. After that parents noticed poor head control. After few sessions of passive movements of upper limb and lower limb , active assisted exercises followed by balancing exercises- therapy, she showed positive results like she is now able to balance herself in sitting position and is very much cooperative. Still long way to go, sessions are on-going.
