When we hear the word brain we create a mental image of same, hard and impenetrable. Now imagine same without the protective shield, highly assailable. TBI is similar, always surrounded with insecurities. They say, you know only when you have it but I don’t want anyone to experience the same mental, physical trauma. Yes, I have lived there. An injury which descended me to a level which was ambiguous. Leading me to Indian Head Injury Foundation.
They understood my pain and bought me closer to life. They are the natural reservoir which supported and encouraged me on my motto of never giving up.
