Success Case Study 3- DIAGNOSIS- AUTISM.
Baby Nitya, 3.2 year female came with complaints that she don’t give eye contact, shows hyperactivity and moves here and there, had paper tearing behaviour, had jargon speech (speaks only rhymes all the time), no response on call and no cooperation at school.On examination it was found that she had low registration, sensory avoiding vestibular processing, oral sensory- definite difference more than others. She underwent Sensory integration therapy for 6 months, now the child is able to give eye contact, respond on call, gives social smile, identify parents & family members, socialization is improved, able to identify colours, shapes, A to Z, 1 to 10, to solve 3 piece puzzle independently, plays with peer group, to draw standing, sleeping lines & circle and gravitational insecurity has been reduced.
