In one of the big victories this year, the government has issued a notification for the protection of the Good Samaritan. It is a happy day for all of us who have advocated for this law,led by the ‘Save Life Foundation’, our partner and supporter.
Head injury (or traumatic brain injury, or TBI, as it is now known) can strike any one of us unexpectedly. TBI comes with a huge personal and social cost, resulting in more deaths in young adults than any other cause. For those who survive, the lifelong consequences can often be devastating.

Researchers have been investigating the effects of head trauma caused by contact sports like football, but they’ve really only been looking into big hits that cause concussions. In a new study, researchers from Stanford University look into the effects of smaller hits of the brain against the inside of the skull, concluding that even tiny injuries can have a huge effect when they build up over time.
The problem in India is not lack of laws but enforcement. Given the pathetic state of law enforcement, we are likely to see a drastic fall in the number of cases prosecuted and a corresponding rise in the increase in incomes of law enforcers. Our judicial system does not help
